Japan is currently on the brink of a severe demographic crisis due to a declining birthrate and an aging population.

 

This demographic shift has led to a shrinking workforce, making it increasingly difficult for companies to find and retain employees, especially in the IT, construction, and manufacturing industries, which are growing at an untenable pace.

As the Japanese government is actively promoting the integration of overseas talent in these specialized and technical fields, Kurobe Corporation aims to solve this labor shortage issue by using over 10 years of experience in hiring foreign professionals and connecting talented Computer/Software Engineers and IT Specialists from India to small-to-medium sized companies here in the Tokyo and Kanagawa areas of Japan.

According to a 2016 report by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the demand for IT personnel is expected to GROW, while the labor force (especially young talent) will DECLINE.

In 2023, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare also projected a population decrease of about 36.3 million by 2070.

India has long invested in developing its technical talent, producing over 537,000 Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) graduates each year (approximately 16 times more than Japan) and a total of 2.26 million engineers (approximately 1.6 times more than Japan). However, the local job market can't keep up, leading to an oversupply of IT professionals and a low domestic employment rate.

As a result, many highly qualified graduates from India's top technical universities are actively seeking roles abroad, especially in Japan due to its safe environment, higher wages and the country's need for skilled workers.
